Sibu BASE Jump 2013 took place from 20th to 22nd September off Wisma Sanyan. Standing 126 meters high Wisma Sanyan is the tallest building in East Malaysia.

Over 3 days of BASE jumping 684 BASE jumps were completed by 36 BASE jumpers from 14 countries.

Participating countries were from Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Malaysia, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, and United States.

This year featured the worlds first tandem BASE jump off a building. Local Sarawak Tourism Board executive Rudy Anoi courageously volunteered to be the first Tandem BASE passenger off Wisma Sanyan.

Another feature of the event was paraplegic BASE jumper Lonnie Bissonnette doing a jump in his wheelchair.

On the final evening BASE jumpers were treated to a closing dinner and celebreation at a traditional longhouse.
